TUPE for life

TUPE . IS FOR LIFE!

I would like to take this opportunity to explain in plain and simple terms for anybody that is unsure about the conditions regards TUPE and your rights as being transferred to a new employer, taken from the actual document here is what is says and i quote.

"It must be remembered that other elements of employment law continue to apply to contracts in the context of a TUPE transfer. Therefore an employer can not validly impose new terms and conditions without the agreement of the employees.Any changes would have to be agreed by the employee or by his union representatives on his behalf".

NOW my point is clear, the difficulties we face are pressures from our employer in that they want us to agree or sign documents that state we are willing to undertake these conditions, and that our unions are agreing things on our behalf!!!! . i therefore suggest people do not sign anything your employer wants you to,also that you make clear that the unions cannot agree a change in your terms/conditions without consultation with you....simple! :)

Lansley ambushed

LANSLEY AMBUSHED BY PROTESTERS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkDunmqoRYM

Female protester tells Lansley: "I've had enough of you!"
Here's the Health Secretary coming face-to-face with some of the opponents of his NHS reforms. The female protester ("I've had enough of you!") is former Unison representative June Hautot.
An uneasy Lansley insisted that "there is no privatisation" but no one was fooled.

this should be happening on a daily basis,he is the scapegoat for the coalitions plans to privatise the nhs. then he and the coalition will be blamed when its all over....and then they will carry on in their happy lives when done!!!!! boooo,, followed by a dozen eggs.

Nhs reform

AFG-alternative futures, creative support, thera, other apparently not for profit organisations want to cut wages, also the terms and conditions of these hard working people....beware!!!

NHS REFORM-- HURTING PEOPLES LIVELYHOODS

all these companies were involved in a bidding war ?, no not really because a multitude of them now provide these services in place of the NHS.therefore if the service was commisioned out to the providers who displayed "best value" etc... then why did they all get an equal chunk of the service ? NO!! this is and still is a divide and conquer exercise on which in the last 4 plus years the unions have gone along with whatever proposals these companies want to happen, quoting to staff that its been agreed by unions, saying if you dont do this or that etc then its disiplinary action for you...you must sign this form to take on roles that are for managers or charge nurses etc such as demanding that staff members sign the shift coordinator role.....DONT do it!!!
sign nothing and remember if you are TUPE staff your conditions/pay scales/terms etc should not change if they do which is happening here then get your colleages together and raise a grievance! i for one do not trust the unions or the companies in which we work etc because we/i have never been consulted about anything, ever!TAKE A LOOK AT THIS,

TUPE=for the length of employment.

Contractual terms in the main, apply to pay and conditions, including any provisions negotiated at national and local level. Though not defined in TUPE, these could include:
■pay scales and rates and pay intervals
■hours of work
■place of employment
■continuous service
■annual leave entitlements
■sick leave and sick pay schemes
■maternity provisions
■pension arrangements
■part-time or flexible working
■other time-off arrangements
■disciplinary, grievance and other procedure.

please note the description as regards provisions negotiated at local/national level,!! beware of this, it means the flaw in tupe is that if you, your union agree then it can apply-especially if you just go along with this-
PLEASE REMEMBER DO NOT SIGN OR AGREE TO ANY CHANGES IN YOUR ORIGINAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS!!
